For Now...

Was not liking the Space Template.
Gadgets too often reverted back to creation date and not where I placed them.

This finally pissed me off.

For now...A simple Blogger Template.

On August 17th, Rah turned FIVE YEARS OLD! That's pretty old for Second Life time.

You know, only one person recognized this passing event.

All those hours spent building and designing and giving. Puts things in perspective.

Oh well. Life goes on as it always does.

I'll stop crying into my bytes...

I'll just keep swimming and searching for what is good and true in all persons.

While at the same time, deflecting the sharks ;-D

I may have resolved my issue in Second Life. You know the one...

It's been awhile since I could just build things. The Mac is great "but" small. I like to build on the PC.

So, yesterday I installed a Catalyst Control Center and did a few tweaks in the settings. So far, so good.

Right now the graphics in Second Life are set pretty low (not my favorite thing). We'll test a higher setting tomorrow.

Wish me luck!

Anyway...Just wanted to let those of you who follow The Happy Hat to know what was up.

Frustrations

OK. Have the issue narrowed down to the PC. With that said...The same issue happens on my sister's Laptop...So is this really computer related?!

There are several "things" that go on.

One is this black texture that appears:

Two is the disappearing things...like my upper body:

As I can, I'll take screenshots and show everyone as each instance happens. It has to be quick; for, when these mysterious events occur, I crash with no warnings...Just Poof...and gone...Second Life closes.

Please...Any thoughts??????????????

Spring Cleaning ;-D

Yep. Trying to clean up the computer and figure out why I keep crashing in Second Life.

I read a forum that it may be my graphics card. Now that would piss me off. The computer holds an AMD Radeon, high powered card. Had to get one for I have been developing video games! Yep. Working on a Video Game Development Certification and Degree...Like I need another degree or certification! Hee Hee

It's been a hoot learning all the new software though. I really have enjoyed the classes so far. In fact, another starts in a couple week!

Anyway...Just wanted to let those of you who follow The Happy Hat to know what was up.
